It’s a big day for your pocket! We turned Flash My Cards into an app that you can use on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. Get it directly from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store now.
We’re, officially, legitimate software…or at least somewhere close to it. Our parents are so much less disappointed than they were last week.
We built this to be a legit app, not just a sad, mobile afterthought.
You know the move. A company ships a phone app that’s really just a brochure behind a login screen, where every third tap says “please visit our website to complete this transaction.” We hate that as much as you do.
Everything’s in there. Paste your notes, upload an assigned reading PDF, record the lecture and end up with a study deck. Study your cards with spaced repetition. Tap a citation to see exactly which paragraph a card came from when it looks sus. Set an exam date so we can nag you about it with escalating urgency. Your account, your decks, and your plan are the same everywhere, so a deck you make on the bus is sitting there when you open your laptop, and vice versa. Sign in with Google, email/password, or with your Apple ID.
And yes, it runs properly on tablets. iPad included. We know half of you take notes on one while pretending the keyboard case makes it a laptop.

The part we’re most excited about: Lecture Mode works right on your phone the same way it does in the browser. Hit record when class starts, lock the screen, put the phone away, and pay attention like the tuition-paying adult your parents think you are. Up to 90 minutes later stop the recording and we’ll hand you a full transcript of the lecture, a bottom-line summary, AI-generated study notes, and a flashcard deck built right from what your professor actually said.
Don’t believe us? That’s okay. You can also listen to the lecture over again just to make sure we didn’t make it all up. Source citations work too, so you can see exactly when & where the professor said the thing they swear they absolutely never said.
The device you were told to put away all semester is now the best note-taker in the room. Poetry.
(Same rule as always: ask your professor before recording. It takes ten seconds and most of them say yes, usually while looking mildly flattered that you want to hear their sonorous voices twice.)
The price for all this: zero dollars, same as before
The apps are free to download and the free tier is the same genuinely-usable free tier as the web: 3 assignments, 50 AI cards each, unlimited hand-typed cards, the full study mode. No trial countdown. If you outgrow it, Basic and Pro are right there, priced like a vending-machine transaction instead of a subscription hostage situation. The only honest caveat is that Lecture Mode does require a subscription…and only because it’s expensive for us to run on the backend. We’d give you that one for free too if we could…but then we’d be broke…well more broke…you get it.
Now get to studying!
App Store for the iPhone and iPad people. Google Play for the Android people. The website isn’t going anywhere for the laptop people. We don’t play favorites, but we do silently judge all of you equally.
Download, make a deck, and let your phone do something for your GPA. It owes you.
