Your professor assigned 100 pages. We turned them into flashcards . You’re welcome.

Flash My Cards turns your PDFs, notes, and recorded lectures into AI-generated flash decks in about a minute. The exam is real. Your attention span not so much. Making a deck by hand is for people with way too much time and nothing due.

No credit card. No trial countdown. No catch. The free tier is just free. Wild concept, we know.

Free. No catch.

A brief, honest word

Higher education is a $400 billion industry that still expects you to make your own flashcards at 1 a.m.

The reading never ends. The textbook cost more than your phone. Half your lectures are from a guy reading his own slides out loud. The system is a little broken. We both know it.

Regardless of all that, learning still matters. Passing matters. Knowing the thing on the other side of the exam matters even more. We’re not here to make you care less. We’re here to make the caring suck less. Take it seriously. Just maybe not lie-awake-at-3-a.m. seriously.

01

How it works

Three steps. None of them involve a highlighter you’ll lose by week two.

01

You dump in the reading

Upload the PDF your professor swears is “a light read,” paste your notes, or just hit record when class starts and let the lecture be the reading. Bring it.

02

We make the deck

Our AI reads the whole thing so you don’t have to, then writes clean question-and-answer cards. It's read more textbooks than your TA and complains roughly 90% less. Only takes a minute.

03

You actually study

Flip a card, rate how bad you did, repeat. Real spaced repetition decides what to show you and when, so the stuff you blank on keeps coming back until it finally sticks.

02

Lecture Mode

New. Very new.

Hit record when class starts. We’ll handle the rest

Record up to 90 minutes of lecture. When you stop, we transcribe the entire thing, write a bottom-line summary so you know what you sat through, and turn it into AI study notes and a flashcard deck on command. Every card links back to what was actually said.

The lecture may only happen once, but with our tools, you can revisit it, word-for-word as many times as you want. Your only job is showing up, and honestly, we can’t automate that one. Yet.

What you get

All of it works on the free tier. We’re not hiding the good stuff behind a paywall. You only ever upgrade if you think we're worth it...and we know you will.

AI that does the reading

Hand it a PDF or paste raw text and it spits out a full deck of clean Q&A cards. The busywork you were going to skip anyway, handled.

Record the lecture

Hit record at the start of class, up to 90 minutes. You get the full transcript, a bottom-line summary, and a deck. Attendance: finally worth something. (Basic and Pro.)

AI study notes

One click turns any assignment into structured notes: key topics, clean breakdowns, and a “likely exam points” list. Like borrowing notes from the kid who color-codes, minus the guilt. (Paid tiers.)

Spaced repetition that works

Proven SM-2 scheduling shows you the cards you suck at more and the ones you're good at less. Cramming, except now it’s technically science.

Reminders that nag (politely)

Set a due date and we email you a week out, two days out, and the night before, escalating from “hey” to “it is time to PANIC.” You’ll thank us at 11pm.

Unlimited manual cards

Want to write your own? Go feral. Manual cards are free and unlimited on every deck, every tier. We only meter the robot...she pricey.

PDFs, notes, whatever

Upload a PDF or paste text. Your original stays attached so you can check the source when a card looks sus. It happens. We’re a robot, not a god...yet.

Works where you do

Right in your browser, light or dark, on the laptop or the phone you’re totally not using in lecture. Mobile apps are on the way. We're working as fast as we can!

04

Pricing

Three plans. The free one is genuinely good. The paid ones cost less than the coffee you’ll need to use them. Upgrade when you outgrow free, not a second before.

Your decks are yours

Downgrade whenever you want. We never delete a deck you made, even if you drop under your new plan’s cap. You just can’t make new ones until you clear some space.

No shady business

No fake countdowns. No "card credits." No holding your notes hostage. The free tier is genuinely good. Pay us only when you actually outgrow it.

Just getting started

Flashcards are step one.

We started with cramming because it’s the universal student experience and, frankly, it's the easiest thing to fix. But our plans are so much bigger. We're building a whole learning toolkit: study rooms, deck sharing, a library of resources, study games, and AI tutors that don't talk to you like you’re five. Learning apps built to be used, not endured.

Get in now, while we’re still small enough to actually read your feedback.

05

The method

Built in. Every tier.

Generating cards is the easy part. Making them stick is the trick.

SM-2 (or “SuperMemo 2”) is the not-so-secret trick behind everyone who seems to remember everything. After you rate how well you knew a card, the app schedules when to show it again. You’ll see it sooner if you bombed it, way later if you crushed it. It’s a method that’s been around for ages. SM-2 is the proven algorithm running that schedule. Net result: you waste zero time re-reading the stuff you already know.

We set the next review date. You just show up.

The exam isn’t going to study for itself.

And let’s be honest, neither were you. That’s the whole reason we exist. Make your first deck for free in about a minute. Worst case scenario, we help you procrastinate just a little longer. We got you.
